Dentists treating patients have long been concerned about residual infections in the root canal system. Lesion sterilization and tissue repair (LSTR) therapy disinfects root canal systems by placing an antibiotic mixture after minimum or no instrumentation. This review covers the technique's development, purpose, indications, applications, and clinical steps required for its use in primary teeth.
